Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) wishes to inform customers in Vanderbijlpark, Bonanne, Boipatong, Tshirela, Bophelong, Bophelong Extensions and surrounding plots of water supply interruption on Friday 30 July from 18h00 until tomorrow (Saturday, 31 July) at 06h00.
The municipality said that the interruption is due to the finalization of the repairs of a bulk water pipeline supplying Vanderbijlpark reservoirs.
In a statement ELM said: “Affected consumers are advised to collect water for basic use during the shutdown. The municipality wishes to apologize for the inconvenience and further encourages residents to use water sparingly at all times.”
