Help police to apprehend Sedgars robbers

VEREENIGING.- The police in Vereeniging are on a hunt for a group of about five men who robbed the popular and well-known Sedgars store in Vereeniging. The incident happened on the morning of Saturday, August 14.

They further fired shots and while shooting, went to the jewelry department and emptied the cabinets.”
 
Moloi says jewelry worth an undisclosed amount was seized during the robbery. The suspects subsequently fled the scene.
 
“The suspects in this matter have not yet been arrested. We urge members of the community with information that can assist in the apprehension of the suspects to please come forward.”
 
ER24 reported that on arrival at the scene, authorities were already there.
 
“Several people were assessed following the armed robbery. People that had been inside the store at the time, were seated on the pavement. Medics assessed patients and found that no one sustained any injuries, though some were visibly shaken.”
