Assist ‘Soldiers for Jesus’ in bringing cheer to needy kids

“We take the gospel to the lost children of God,” is the couple’s goal.

VANDERBIJLPARK. – Soldiers for Jesus is a Holy Spirit inspired outreach ministry, actively working right through the Vaal Triangle for the past eight years. The driving force behind this noble organisation is Pastor Robin van Rensburg and his wife, Clarissa. Both are evangelists who focus mainly on healing ministry, but are heavily involved in street ministry as well. They preach the gospel to orphanages, old ages homes, people prone to substance abuse, and others needy people on the edge of society.
“We take the gospel to the lost children of God,” is the couple’s goal.
“It’s the giving season… Another amazing Christmas is approaching and we are inviting our community to join hands in the spirit of giving. Each year we select a group of children to bless with gifts and a fun day, all followed by teachings of Jesus and the gospel of the Kingdom of God. This year we return to the small park in a poverty stricken area in Vanderbijlpark, where there are 50+ children who have been with us for two years. We reach out to them every week and teach them about the gospel. They have grown spiritually in an immense way in the past two years and they are now forming personal relationships with Jesus. We are with them every Sunday and they have named themselves ‘Every Praise Church’,” says Pastor Robin.

“Jesus went about doing good and came to serve. He had an open heart and gave everything He was to us all. He taught us to give with a cheerful heart and by doing that we represent Him and His Kingdom that is presently abiding within us.
“We ask that you would open your hearts and help us to give them a beautiful Christmas Picnic. Some of the gift requests of the children included cell phones, bicycles, soccer boots, etc. If you have any of these items at home that you don’t use anymore, please consider donating them to the children to make some dreams come true. If you would like to make a cash donation towards gifts and edibles for the day we would appreciate it greatly. More over, we would truly love your participation as well. Please join us in fellowship on this day.
“If anyone decides to make a donation, please get in touch with us so we can properly thank you and express our gratitude for you partnership in the Kingdom of God. We will also share the harvest with you all and send photos and videos of the day’s success,” says Pastor Robin.
