Emfuleni vehicle ends up in pothole

Residents of the area allege the matter was reported to the municipality several times.

VEREENIGING. – A vehicle of the Emfuleni Local Municipality became a victim of circumstances after ending up in water filled pothole at Cliff Drysdale Street Extension1, Unitas Park.
The pothole was carved out by water spilling from a burst pipe that had not been fixed for several months.
Residents of the area allege the matter was reported to the municipality several times.
According to Sehloo Mokale the burst pipe was reported to both the ward Councillor and Metsi – a – Lekoa.
Residents hope that after the municipality will now be able to fix the burst pipe. “We appeal to Emfuleni municipality to do a quality work.
“This will at least save the government from wasting money”, says Mokale.
