During the 8 weeks the resort saw a 70% increase in guests, supported by Vaal locals and guests from Johannesburg, North West, and further afield.
The wine tasting was hosted in the Hotel Lounge this year, allowing guests to enjoy a relaxed afternoon, tasting wine and enjoying the view over the gardens and Game Park.



Mouthwatering platters, beautifully laid out, were available for the hungry.
The partnership with Zandvliet Wine Estate and Adama Wines, featuring HER wines, demonstrated Emerald’s commitment to supporting new initiatives. HER wines is a new role player in the industry, managed entirely by women.
“To secure the opportunity to host a new wine entrepreneur such as HER wines as part of the Wine Route was a coup for Emerald. These wines will also be featured as part of the High Stakes Food and Wine event on 25 August 2022”, says Tanuja Gangabishun, Marketing Executive at Emerald Resort and Casino.
