Midvaal’s CWP teams and community members to conduct mass clean-up in Ward 6

The #ReSebetsaMmoho Keep Midvaal Clean campaign will conduct a mass clean-up in Lakeside, Ward 6 on Wednesday (8 March 2023).

The teams will clean up public spaces, streets, clear out illegal dumping and beautify the area.

The mass clean-up campaign will be joined by the MMC for Development and Planning, Cllr Mokete Motsamai, over 200 Community Work Programme (CWP) workers and hundreds of community members who have volunteered their time to keep their areas clean.

The #ReSebetsaMmoho clean-up campaign takes place every Monday to Thursday, targeting different parts of the municipality including problematic, peripheral, and outlying areas.

The campaign is a social initiative meant to raise environmental awareness as well as inspire civic education on waste management and collective ownership of the cleanliness of Midvaal’s communities.
