The Anker Schools’ record breaking Christmas Market

VANDERBIJLPARK. - The Anker Schools' Annual Christmas Market once again proved to be a highlight in the community, breaking last year's record and captivating the hearts of the Vaal Triangle community once again.

This festive market, held on the school grounds over two days, exceeded all expectations.

This year the venue accommodated a larger crowd, offering an even more extensive selection of delights for all ages.

The record-breaking success of this year’s event sets the stage for a promising future, ensuring that The Anker Schools’ Christmas Market will remain a cherished tradition for years to come.

The kiddies’ corner and the tea garden, in particular, provided a delightful escape for families to enjoy quality time together.

But the heart of the market was without a doubt the handcrafted products created by learners and teachers.

From charming garden decor to bespoke gifts, these items flew off the shelves.

The sales not only support the school but showcase the community’s appreciation for unique, locally-made products.

“The success of this year’s Christmas Market is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our incredible staff. They are the backbone of our school, and their tireless efforts have truly made this event shine.”

“We are committed to raising the bar each year, and with the tremendous success of 2023, we are inspired to make the Anker Schools’ Christmas Market in 2024 even more magical and memorable,” says principal Francois du Toit.
