Wispeco Aluminium: Vacancies for Millwrights

Wispeco Aluminium (Vereeniging/Alrode) has three available positions for qualified Millwrights, preferably with Matric.

Preferred Experience:
5 years working experience in advanced hydraulics including fault finding, electrical and mechanical maintenance. Experience in the functionality of PLCs will be beneficial. Experience with operating a lathe and milling machine would be advantageous. The ability to do arc welding and gas cutting would also be advantageous.

Main purpose of the job:
To assume responsibility for all maintenance work done on equipment relating to installation, upgrading and running of plant after commissioning.
Primary Duties:
• Do job planning and prepare material lists.
• Repair and upgrade press for installation.
• To be responsible for the correct maintenance of plant equipment.
• Comply with all regulations for the installation and maintenance of plant and equipment.
• The safe running of equipment to its maximum capacity, efficiency and recovery.
• Ensure that quality standards are met throughout the entire maintenance operation.
• Always maintain housekeeping and safety in accordance with company standards.
• Carry out all other duties which you are instructed to do from time to time by your supervisor.
