VANDERBIJLPARK – The Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) will conduct a land audit in Ward 5 (SW1, SW2, SW5 en SE2) on Friday, 9 January, as part of its ongoing efforts to verify and assess municipal-owned properties.
DA Ward councillor Maureen Dosoudil has urged residents not to be alarmed if they notice vehicles moving slowly or appearing suspicious in the area. These vehicles form part of the official land audit team.

The audit focuses on municipal properties that make up the municipality’s asset portfolio. According to Dosoudil, some buildings may be repurposed once the assessment is complete, depending on the outcome of the audit.
