MIDVAAL. – A Malawian national has been arrested in connection with the murder of Drumblade goat farmer and artisan cheesemaker, Terry McMurray.

According to police spokesperson Captain Fikile Funda, Terry McMurray and his wife Linda were badly assaulted and left to die on June 25.

This after three armed suspects entered their home and demanded their cell phones and firearms.

Funda told Vaalweekblad that McMurray was found dead, while his wife was in a critical condition and rushed to hospital.

The police are still searching for the other suspects who were involved.

The police’s district commissioner, Major General Nkhensani Lemba condemned these recent attacks.
