AYRTON releases heartfelt new single, ‘My Home’
South African indie and country pop artist AYRTON is back with an emotional new track that redefines what “home” really means.
MEYERTON – South African indie and country pop artist AYRTON has released his latest single, My Home, a song that explores love, connection, and the idea that “home” can be a person rather than a place.
The singer-songwriter says he wrote the song in just a few hours, but took his time on the production to ensure a clear, open sound.
Gentle guitar lines and layered production give the track both intimacy and emotional scale, creating a warm atmosphere for listeners.
I wrote this song in like 2 hours. I finished writing this song in the first two hours of sitting down and starting it, but the production of it I took my time with. I just wanted it to have a clean sound and a very open sound.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, AYRTON explained that it reflects a personal understanding of closeness and belonging.
“It’s about loving someone so deeply that they become your safe space,” he said.

“It could be a person, a pet, or even a feeling that makes you feel grounded.”
AYRTON first gained public attention in 2024 with his debut single, I will go far, which topped local charts, followed by successful releases Inner Kid in Me and Want u to go.

He later signed with David Gresham Records, and his recent single Wait on You was widely played on radio stations across the country.
Known for honest and emotionally open songwriting, AYRTON blends elements of pop, folk, and country while experimenting with his sound and refusing to be confined to one genre.

He says that feedback from listeners has been overwhelmingly positive, particularly from those who relate to the song’s themes of vulnerability, personal growth, and emotional honesty.

In My Home, listeners encounter a narrative of love that is real, imperfect, and deeply human.
AYRTON hopes the song encourages people to reflect on what “home” means to them and the connections that give life meaning.
My Home is now available on all streaming platforms.
