Chess tournament a huge success
It's a winner every year. The 9th Eureka Open Chess Tournament was enjoyed by one and all.
VEREENIGING – Eureka Open Chess tournament was held on August 1 and had 149 players. It was fun all the way. Congratulations to all the winners of the tournament. It was a privilege to be your host.
We had a separate tournament on July 31 for the learners with special needs (LSEN). A record-breaking 83 learners from five schools played in the tournament. We were very proud of them
Thank you to “I- water,” Vanderbijlpark, for sponsoring our water.Thank you to everyone at Eureka School who worked hard and helped organising the tournament, and Sedibeng Chess for their help. Most importantly, thank you to everyone who participated.
