KWAMBONAMBI police are still on the scene following an incident in which a man came under gunfire while driving on the old Empangeni-Mtubatuba road, about 3km from the Mfolozi Protea Hotel site.

The man lost control of his vehicle, which crashed into the bushes after numerous shots were fired at the car.

The incident occurred at around 1.30pm today (Thursday).

It is reported that the victim was taken to hospital and his condition is not known.
