The SA Weather Service (SAWS) warned on Thursday that the central and eastern parts of the country would experience severe weather conditions from this Saturday through to Monday next week.

“This will be due to an intense weather system, a cut-off low, that is expected to affect the country from 15 to 17 November.

“This type of weather system is often associated with widespread rainfall and severe thunderstorms, which both bring a risk of flooding, among others,” said the SAWS in a statement.
