Help find Amelia Mazivila’s killers
The deceased’s sister, Leah Mkhabela, said on the day of the incident, her sister arrived home covered in blood and screaming for help.
Langaville – The family of Amelia Mazivila are reeling with shock and demanding justice for their daughter, who was recently stabbed multiple times and forced to drink poison.
The 24-year-old money lender was attacked and robbed near the Ext 8 sports ground while on her way home after collecting money from her clients.
She succumbed to her injuries on Monday at Pholosong Hospital.

The deceased’s sister, Leah Mkhabela, said on the day of the incident, her sister arrived home covered in blood and screaming for help.
“She pleaded that we give her milk to get rid of the poison, but all the stores nearby had run out.
“We rushed her to the local clinic, and she was later transferred to Pholosong Hospital, where she died.”
Leah believes the suspects knew her sister had money on her because it was month-end. The family calls on anyone who might have seen the perpetrators to come forward.

“Someone must have seen something, heard her screaming for help. We are pleading to that person to contact the police,” she added.
Ekurhuleni SAPS spokesperson Captain Nelda Sekgobela confirmed that the police were investigating a case of murder.
“No one has been arrested, but police investigations are underway. We call on anyone with information that could lead to the suspect’s arrest to come forward,” she added.
