Men’s forum brings sunshine to learners from disadvantaged backgrounds

Chairperson of the group, Humphrey Chiloane said they don't want the learners to be distracted from their studies because of the cold.

Kwa-Thema – As part of their social responsibility programme, Phakamang maAfrika Men’s Club donated school shoes to learners at Masimini Primary School on Tuesday.

Group chairperson Humphrey Chiloane said they felt the need to buy the shoes for some of the learners from disadvantaged families.

“It is heartbreaking that we still have learners who still don’t have school uniforms especially now that its winter. We don’t want the learners to be distracted from their studies because of the cold,” he said.

The group is planning to expand their initiative to other schools in the area and also add school uniforms as part of the donation.
