Artist redeems himself through music
Success is the only thing Sile is looking forward to.
Springs – From Bryanston to Sharon Park that’s where life took 27-year-old music artist Shawn ‘M.i.B Flavour’ Sile.
Sile had a good upbringing but battled demons from a young age. He found himself fighting with his family and failing his grades.
He started writing music in 2017 before staying on the streets.
“The Bryanston home belonged to my mother’s boss and we stayed in the cottage. When the family my mom worked for moved to Durban, they bought my mom a house in Sharon Park.

“I couldn’t stay there full-time, therefore, I stayed on the streets hustling for a better life,” he said.
He went back home after a few months and has been receiving love ever since. Sile started recording in 2018 and has released a 12-track mixtape, a three-track EP and three singles.
His music is different genres and he calls himself a versatile artist. If he manages to get the money needed, he intends to release new tracks.
“It takes money to make money. Getting money will help me to succeed as success is the only thing I’m currently looking forward to,” he concluded.
