Kiddies break a sweat
The event started with a 1.5km walk from the corner of Blose and Kotane streets to Ziba Park.

Kwa-Thema – The Ward 88 daycare centres celebrated Youth Month with a fun-filled event last Friday.
Sparks Moagi, the ward committee’s sports, arts and culture co-ordinator, said it was important for young children to get frequent physical activity.
“The skills, honesty, teamwork, commitment, having respect for others and understanding rules that might develop through playing sport can contribute greatly to a child’s overall development.
“We understand that sport is important for the overall development of children, so because of this, we aim to increase children’s access to sports,” explained the athlete.
The event started with a 1.5km walk from the corner of Blose and Kotane streets to Ziba Park.
“There are 13 crèches represented. We are so grateful that, this year, we have more knowledgeable people like Moagi to help us with the event. It will only get better and better,” said Agnes Seleke of the Sinyathlo Esihle Backyard Creches Forum.
The forum’s chairperson, Mxolisi Mtakwende, thanked local businessmen – James Ziba and Jerry Nkuna – and Blomanathi for their contributions.
