Broken Wings hosts spring braai

Broken Wings Association for Adults with Disabilities started the spring season with style by hosting a successful spring braai on September 2.

The Broken Wings Association for Adults with Disabilities gathered around the fires on September 2 for a delicious braai.

The association’s mission is to build a safe, healthy atmosphere for personal growth in self-esteem, skill development and creativity while treating staff and volunteers with respect to be trustworthy and accountable to all disabled people who make use of their services.

The members of the organisation socialised to enjoy the beautiful breeze of the spring season.

The organisation encourages their Broken Wingers to be creative, acquire new abilities and interact with adults even though they may never be fully independent.

The members enjoyed well-braaied meat and drank soft drinks to close off the day.
