As per the message from Ward 38 councillor Malcolm Maifala-Masebe, residents are advised that Brackenhurst, Albertsdal and Mayberry Park areas are being collected today.

“For other areas not mentioned above, these updates can only be given daily. The priority for council remains to get all trucks back on the road,” said Maifala-Masebe.

For any payment of services queries, please direct all individual queries to both the finance department and waste department in Alberton as that is an administrative matter.

“I will keep updating daily as and when new information is available,” added Maifala-Masebe.
