Fitness studio hosts morning combining fitness with making new friends
Alberton’s 48 Jump Street welcomed women for a morning of rebounding and meaningful connections, proving that fitness is about more than exercise; it’s about building a supportive community
Alberton’s Rebounding & Fitness Studio, 48 Jump Street, recently hosted its popular Bounce, Brunch & Bond event.
Held at the studio on Hennie Alberts Street, the event brought together members and guests for a morning that combined fitness and meaningful connection.
The day began with an energetic 1.5-hour rebounding session, during which participants bounced, danced, and exercised to upbeat music.

Following the workout, attendees enjoyed a delicious brunch, giving everyone the chance to relax, refuel and spend quality time together.
While fitness was at the centre of the event, the focus extended beyond exercise. The morning encouraged women to connect outside of their regular classes, make new friendships, share conversations and strengthen the sense of community.
Studio owner and instructor, Viola Reynders, said the event reflected everything 48 Jump Street stands for.

“48 Jump Street is about so much more than fitness. It’s about creating a space where people can come together, have fun, support one another and feel like they belong. Bounce, Brunch & Bond was exactly that: a celebration of fitness, friendship and our amazing community,” she said.
The event was a great success, with participants leaving inspired after a morning filled with smiles, laughter, energetic bouncing and lasting memories.
For 48 Jump Street, the event reinforced the idea that fitness is not only about staying active, but also about finding a supportive community, building meaningful relationships and enjoying the journey together.
