KZN Ringball Federation held the first games in this season at Hoy Park on Saturday.
Previously known as Korfball, Ringball is a school and international sport registered with SASCOC which is played by men, women, boys and girls in all provinces of the country from U11 division to the masters (Over 45s division).
Ringball is played in each of the provinces in South Africa and the KZN Ringball Federation consists of seven clubs spread over Amanzimtoti, Durban, Richards Bay and Vryheid.
The season started off well on Saturday, and games will now be held in various districts, with a SA National tournament in July and the annual SA schools’ tournament in September.
