UKZN’s Jazz Centre hosts Argentinian duo
The acoustic pair features electric bass player Ariel Zamonsky and vocalist Juana Pires Rafael, who have been living in South Africa for the past couple of years.

THE Centre for Jazz and Popular Music at UKZN Howard College campus, welcomes back Argentinian duet Ariel & Juana on Wednesday, 4 March at 6pm.
The acoustic pair features electric bass player Ariel Zamonsky and vocalist Juana Pires Rafael, who have returned from a two month trip to Argentina where they performed in their home town of Bariloche, in Patagonia, with local musicians.
Ariel and Juana will perform with a band comprised of Salim Washington, renowned saxophonist, flautist and clarinettist and Stanley Matlou, a young drummer who is a UKZN graduate.
