The Sunflower Fund is joining in the Women's Month celebrations by hosting an 'All things Women' evening online.
THE month of August is set aside in recognition of the fairer sex, and The Sunflower Fund partnered by DKMS is joining in the celebrations by hosting an ‘All things Women’ evening, a fun, empowering virtual event, on Friday, 28 August via Zoom at 7.15pm for 7.30pm. The evening’s line up consists of talks by highly respected professionals including intimacy coach, Marilu Gabba, owner and manager of Satin Candy Bra Boutique, Sandra Thomas, and sexual health professional promoter, Kaitlyn Kay. Alice Leah of the A-List, will be the evening’s compere and guests can look forward to a fun-filled affair doused with some good humour and enviable prizes. Booking is essential and tickets cost R100 per person. A gathering of this nature is best shared with friends and guests are encouraged to grab their favourite drinks and snacks and sign in for an enjoyable session. Basic requirements for successful participation include a stable internet connection and a computer or smartphone device with a camera. Guests can expect a full how to guide before the event to familiarise themselves with what to expect.Funds raised from the event will enable The Sunflower Fund to create awareness as well as educate and recruit more blood stem cell donors.
