RACE 7 SWINGER: 1-EKORIA AND 8 PEACH DAIQUIRI

These were two top-class juveniles who will be having their first runs as three-year-olds. Ekoria
finished a close-up fourth in a Grade 1 race at Scottsville but has been given top weight of 64kg,
although by using a 4kg claiming apprentice trainer, Gavin Smith has reduced that to 60kg.

Peach Daiquiri has raced only once, was well supported and won by 8.50 lengths. Two runners
beaten by more than 11 lengths have come out and won so she looks special and has just 54.5kg
to carry.

As long as they both don’t desperately need the run, they should fight out the finish.

RACE 5 NO 5 TWICE TO HEAVEN – EACHWAY

Sharon Kotzen has her stable in prolific form and with jockey Louis Mxothwa riding at the top of
his game, the 10-1 on offer for this filly looks attractive, even though she’s taking on the colts.

But she has run well against the boys before so that should not be too much of a hindrance.
