Reiger Park Police Station wants your ideas to build a safer community

Share your suggestions to help improve safety and service delivery.

Reiger Park SAPS says its doors remain open for residents who want to share ideas and suggestions on how the station can improve its services and tackle community safety challenges.

Constable Johannes Msimanga, spokesperson for the station, explained that the call for input is ongoing, and residents are encouraged to keep submitting their thoughts.
“We are still inviting the public to give us suggestions. We want to hear from the community because their ideas will help us improve service delivery and address the issues that affect them daily.

“This initiative is part of a wider effort to build stronger ties with the community. Suggestions can focus on crime prevention, visibility of patrols, service efficiency, or even community-driven initiatives that bring people and police closer together.”

Msimanga emphasised that no idea is too small or insignificant. Every submission will be considered and, where possible, integrated into the station’s plans.
“Community members know their neighbourhoods best. By sharing their suggestions, they become active partners in finding solutions,” he added.

Residents can continue to drop off written submissions at the Reiger Park Police Station. Feedback can also be raised through CPFs, which work hand in hand with the police.

Msimanga urged the community not to hesitate in speaking up.
“We are still listening. This is a chance for residents to have their voices heard. Together, we can create a safer Reiger Park,” he said.
