I would like to express my warmest appreciation to Brandon Pretorius, DA Clr in Brakpan Central, who went out of his way to investigate the problem regarding the disconnection of electricity at my mother’s house in Hastings Avenue.
This after speaking to a string of arrogant individuals at the call centre, who would send me from pillar to post.
Upon investigation, it was discovered that the council was disconnecting the wrong house when a notification was sent out.
The circuit breaker was not marked clearly, hence the incorrect disconnection.
For now, we will wait and see if the problem rears its ugly head again.
Be that as it may, I am grateful to Brandon for his prompt response in attending to and investigating the matter.
