Weather rains on golfers’ Italian parade

A few of South Africa’s juniors (including State Mines Country Club’s top junior Casey Jarvis) felt hard done by and others felt they left it too late, but the young crew left Italy with great positives after their campaign in Italy was cut short on September 6.

Torrential rain caused two lengthy suspensions at the start and during the third round of the 12th Reply Italian International Under-16 Championship, forcing organisers to declare a 54-hole result. Jarvis tied for 16th on seven-over par.
