From miners to to scrap metal

A large collection of engineering, mining equipment, vehicles and miscellaneous items will be brought to market by Park Village Auctions (PVA) this month.


The mining and engineering equipment takes the form of a Voest alpine miner, Joy shuttle cars, a flameproof tractor, Aro roof bolters, a Gehl 4635 skidsteer, a Cat 416B backhoe loader, gear motors, Lincoln CO² welding machines, Manair mobile air compressors and an Ingersol Rand P260 mobile compressor.

Additional items under this banner include a Lincoln 400AS diesel welder, a JCB tele-handler, mine tractors, a 250kVA generator, steel containers, a Gallic lathe, industrial extraction fans, pedestal drills, electronic/electrical equipment, grinders, and a large assortment of scrap.

A number of quality vehicles, lifting gear and ancillary items will be auctioned alongside the engineering and mining equipment, including an Iveco Eurotrakker 750E47 6X4 truck tractor, a PR trailer tri-axle step deck 30-ton low bed, Nissan Navara 2.5 D/C LDV’s, a Hino rigid drop-side truck, a Nissan Interstar bus, a Ford Bantam 1.6 LDV, a Land Rover Discovery 4 3.0 TDV, a Nissan 1400 LDV, a double-axle car trailer, large assortments of Gonow 2.8 TDS Xspace LDV’s, a Komatsu 7 ton forklift, a TCM 2.5 ton forklift, a Ford 9 ton mobilift and much more besides.

An assortment of office furni-ture comprising desks, chairs, cabinets, filing cabinets, reception suites and boardroom suites amongst other items will also go under the hammer.

“Scrap metal merchants, mining concerns, fleet and logistics operators, industrially-orientated concerns and commercial entities alike will no doubt find this auction of great interest,” says PVA’s Paul Lendia.

“And well they should. Many of the assets are in good condition and represent great value for money, especially the tri-axle 30-ton low bed which is practically new.”
