Storeroom selection surprises

Park Village Auctions (PVA) will soon bring to auction a "superb" collection of home furniture alongside quality catering equipment, office furniture and much more at their upcoming warehouse auction.

In terms of the home furniture, interested buyers will find lounge suites, beautiful Persian and Kelim rugs, leather arm chairs, a walnut dining room suite, bedroom suites, fridges, a Wilson grandfather clock, a Bernhard Steiner baby grand piano, Bosch and Johan Marais oil paintings, patio furniture, dinner sets, wing back chairs, couches, a video camera and jewellery comprising rings, watches, pendants and necklaces amongst other pieces.

According to PVA’s Elain Hague, those in the catering field will have their pick of quality goods too. Assets include an assortment of gas grillers, deep fryers, display fridges, under-counter fridges, chest freezers, a sushi bar and a brand new RC-C50 and 60 cable covering extruder and components, amongst many other similar items.

A large assortment of executive office furniture and effects has also made its way to PVA’s warehouse floor.

Items under this banner include, among numerous others, desks, leather high back chairs, executive boardroom tables, tub chairs, conference tables, stationery cupboards, filing cabinets, PC’s, printers, photocopiers and fax machines.

In addition to these lots, a number of miscellaneous items will also be made available to bidders including a sealpack shrink wrap tunnel, quality brand name wide format printers, a sealing machine, industrial scales and hand tools.

“The variety of stock available at this sale bolsters our reputation for consistently providing quality assets across the board. It’s worth noting that although the majority of the stock is of a good calibre, the household assets are definitely a cut above the rest. Indeed, some pieces make for good investment items.

The walnut dining room suite and rugs are particularly fine, and will no doubt appeal to those with discerning tastes,” Hague concluded.

The assets will be auctioned at PVA’s warehouse at 14 Prolecon  Road, Prolecon, Johannesburg on May 27 from 10:30am onwards. Viewing will take place on May 26  from 9am to 3pm.
