A large collection of yellow metal, parts, components, vehicles and miscellaneous items will soon be brought to auction by Park Village Auctions (PVA).
The assets arise from the liquidation of a yellow metal, salvage parts and components distributor which had some quality items on its books including an assortment of dismantled and incomplete machinery, CAT 424 backhoe loaders, CAT IT12B wheeled loaders, a CAT excavator, Wright and CAT wheeled loaders, a MAN single deck bus, forklift trucks, a Nissan CW350 tipper truck, a Komatsu PC200 excavator, an industrial sand blasting machine, and a Dyno test machine.
Vehicles to be auctioned include a Mercedes Benz CLK 320, a Mercedes Benz C200, a Hyundai H100 LDV, Isuzu fleetline single cab LDV’s, a Nissan CM16 rigid truck with crane and a diesel forklift.
An assortment of workshop tools and equipment will also be auctioned. Assets under this banner include Lincoln and Messer Griesheim welding machines, a Metabo mag drill, grinders, drilling machines, an Ingersoll-Rand compressor, a milling machine, a lathe, purpose built steel work benches and shelves.
Salvaged parts and spares comprise a sizeable portion of the assets available. Engine blocks, heads, cranks, pistons, conrods, hydraulic motors and pumps, transmissions, final drives, H-frames, buckets, wheels and tyres and an assortment of replacement parts will pique buyers’ interest.
And if that isn’t enough, certain buyers will be pleased to know that six-metre shipping containers, office furniture and a collection of scrapped metal will also be brought to market.
The first lot of assets will be auctioned on site at 28 Main Reef Road, Benoni on September 25 at 10.30am followed immediately by the auction of the second lot at All Black Road, behind Pat Hinde Toyota in Anderbolt. All assets will be sold piecemeal. Viewing will take place on September 23 from 10am to 3pm.
