Sophie Ndaba on how she lost weight

Ndaba says all it took was cutting down on her sugar intake and adopting a low-carb lifestyle.


Actress, wedding planner and businesswoman Sophie Ndaba, who recently made headline for remarkably losing a lot of weight, is not impressed with people assuming that she used weight loss products to get the job done.

She says all it took was cutting down on her sugar intake, adopting a low-carb lifestyle and exercising.

Speaking to Sunday Sun, Ndaba made it clear she’s not an ambassador of any weight loss product, and took time to set the record straight. “I’m not and never have been,” she said. “I can’t be preaching that people must change their eating and living lifestyle, meanwhile I’m busy promoting a product that could possibly have sugar contents and put their lives at risk,” she added.

She further told the paper that she wouldn’t mind endorsing a product in the future, provided it’s proven healthy by diabetic dieticians.

“I’m a brand. I’ve been in the industry for over 25 years. All brands that are professional know rules of engagement and have a responsibility to correct a rumour that flies around their brand,” the businesswoman said.
