Details: Khaya Mthethwa and Ntando Kunene’s stunning traditional wedding

The two lovebirds held the Zulu traditional ceremony over the weekend.

After dating for just a few months, musician Khaya Mthethwa and former Miss SA, Ntando Kunene celebrated their traditional wedding surrounded by family and friends over the weekend

Even though both Khaya and Ntando have been shy to talk about their romance in the public eye, they both shared beautiful pictures from their special day.

The traditional ceremony took place in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga. Ntando looked gorgeous in a cream and gold mermaid dress that was accessorised with a matching Zulu hat and beaded overlay.

Khaya also looked dapper in a traditional white t-shirt with a Zulu headband.

“Sthandwa Sami thank you! What an amazing day 2 Dec 2017,” Khaya said about their special day on Instagram.

Speaking to Sunday World last week a relative told the paper that they decided to get married so soon after dating because they are both very religious Christians.

“Khaya is a pastor and he is also from a very religious family. His father told our family that the couple has to get married before they are introduced as a couple and it was also Khaya’s wish to marry Ntando,” the relative said.

Apparently friends and family were also given strict instructions to keep news of the wedding under wraps, because the lovebirds had decided not to speak about the special day in the media.
