Phindile Gwala weds Congolese beau in secret ceremony
December was a month filled with celebrations, festivities and events but somehow an entire wedding flew under the radar.
The actress has been dating a Congolese model by the name of Armando Ngandu for the past two years and it looks as if they were finally ready to commit for life. Phindile took to Instagram to declare that she was now officially a Makoti and her fans were absolutely elated for her.
She wrote on the social network: “He promised and he did it… Just call me Mrs. Ngandu”
In an interview with OkMzansi last year, Phindile revealed how she met her then-boyfriend. Apparently he had been texting her incessantly but the former Muvhango actress was not the least bit interested. This changed, however, after she saw a picture of his six-pack.
Once they started dating, however, she was head over heels, revealing what a romantic suitor Armando is:
“He is very romantic. Little things such as picking me up and bringing me flowers attracted me more to him,”
We are incredibly thrilled for the newlyweds and we can’t wait to see if they will also have a white wedding sometime this year.
