Rami Chuene’s surprise secret wedding

Actress Rami Chuene surprised everybody by sharing she got married over the long weekend.

Rami Chuene surprised everybody on Monday by revealing she got married over the long weekend.

Whilst people were celebrating their heritage and hosting braais, the actress was walking down the aisle. Posting a picture in a white dress, holding a bunch of red roses, Chuene indeed attended her own wedding.

Friend and fellow actress Dineo Langa commented: “It was so hard keeping this in. Congratulations again Ramz, love looks beautiful on you.”

Another co-star and friend Loyiso MacDonald couldn’t contain his excitement.

Rami has kept this relationship under wraps and it is not known who her partner is or when she got engaged. She was, however, hinting the entire weekend over how “excited” she was to attend this specific wedding.

The Isono actress also gave out clues that the wedding was in her home province of Limpopo.

She also thanked designer Tomi Rikhosto, who designed her wedding dress. Tomi Creations are quite popular on social media with his other celebrity clients including Ayanda Ncwane.

Rami did give some insight into her relationship when she wrote: “When you’re with someone that reminds you that it’s not unusual when everything is beautiful…”

As a result of Rami’s secret nuptials, Twitter was abuzz. Commentators wrote that many should take “notes” about keeping things hush-hush when it comes to tying the knot.

There is this running joke on Twitter that secret weddings happen over long weekends, particularly in relationships where people are being cheated on, with Tthe other woman or man finding out their partner got married via social media.

Rami’s last public relationship was with Tsepo Desando. The couple were married for several years and have three daughters together. They divorced in 2013.

She infamously promoted her daughter’s OnlyFans account in 2019 and she was awarded “supportive parent of the year” by social media.

“This child of mine has this thing going. Please subscribe. Yes I’m retweeting under duress,” said Chuene.
