Actress Samkelo involved in heated Twitter spat about racism with former Miss SA contestant

Samkelo Ndlovu called former Miss SA contestant Iman Mkwanazi “fake woke” and “slow witted” during a spicy exchange on Twitter.

The drama started when Iman decided to share her views about racism in the country following the ‘Black Monday’ protests against farm murders.

Scores of social media users expressed disgust after they spotted the old South African flag being carried by some of the protestors. Some were also heard singing Die Stem.

Iman tweeted that she thought it was ironic that people were outraged by racism when they are living in a racist country.

Samkelo was less than impressed with Iman’s tweet and decided to add her two cents’ worth.

“You speak so recklessly. So basically we should be complicit because it’s normal? Yes, let’s normalize racism. You lack effective rhetoric,” she told the model.

Iman brushed off Samkelo’s comments, and accused the actress of seeking “attention”.

The pair argued back and forth, and Samkelo eventually told Iman she was “fake woke”.

She also called Iman “slow witted”.

Ouch!
