David Beckham is always in charge of the TV at home. The retired soccer star says he often has to wrestle the remote control away from his four kids – Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 10, Cruz, eight, and two-year-old Harper with wife Victoria Beckham in order to watch his favourite shows and has set rules for the living room.
He told Heat: ”I’m in control of the remote, unless one of the boys is in the room, then that’s a different story. But they know daddy is in control of the remote!” The 38-year-old hunk admits he can most often be found watching soccer on TV, but he and Victoria, 39, love to settle down to a good comedy when the kids aren’t around.
He added: ”The kids watch a lot of the children’s shows, but me and Victoria are watching ‘Modern Family or the US ‘Office’.” David is also enjoying life back home in his native London now he has ended his successful soccer career and particularly looks forward to visiting with his family.
He explained: ”[I like] the simple things like going round to my grandma’s, going round to my mum and dad’s house, [and] seeing my sisters. The normal things I haven’t been able to do since I moved away from London when I was 15 years old. It’s been quite a while. So it’s the simple things like popping round for a cup of tea.”
