Enhle Mbali’s new fashion range making big waves abroad

Enhle Mbali’s 2020 is off to a good start! The actress revealed that her clothing line, Essie Apparel, has been featured in Vogue Italia
The 31-year-old shared the exciting news on social media
“GUESS WHOS IN @vogueitalia …. @essie_apparel by Me… team we’re upwards and onwards. The beginning!” she wrote.
Enhle’s famous friends, including K Naomi, Terry Pheto and Celeste Ntuli congratulated her on her big achievement
“This is amazing! Congrats mama,” K Naomi wrote.
Simphiwe Ngema added: “Whaaaaaaat??? Congrats skeem.”
Not bad for a fashion label that made its debut at SA Fashion Week (SAFW) in 2019.

“This was such a journey…. from making costumes for KB as a fresh eyed 17 year old, I’m am proud to say I am designer and proud owner of @essie_apparel . You are valid Your dreams are valid. When waves hit stay still as a rock and stagger through. Tastes sweeter when u get there. My team rocks!! (sic)” Enhle wrote after her line’s SAFW showcase.

The Essie Vogue feature is not the first of Enhle’s big moves abroad
The actress teamed up with local designers, Quiteria and George, to create one of the looks Beyoncé wore during her ‘Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100’ performance in December 2018.
“We did it!” Enhle wrote on Instagram at the time.
The emerald, crystal-encrusted look received rave reviews from international critics.

2019 was a tough year for Enhle, who announced that she and her husband DJ Black Coffee had split up
Despite the heartbreak, she held her head high and continued to work on her business and career ventures. Her hard work is paying off in a big way and she has even bigger plans for 2020.
“Hope you all leaped into 2020 with a smile and the spirit of Conquering,” she wrote on Instagram.
