Cheslin Kolbe’s wife, Layla, melted hearts on Instagram after sharing several snaps of the Springboks star feeding her as she breastfed their baby.

“Mother’s love, daddy’s love for his queen, wow great team work and this [is] how life should be,” one comment read.

The pair got married five years ago and have two daughters, Kylah (6) and Mila Skye (2).

Layla has previously opened up about suffering multiple miscarriages.

Taking to Instagram in 2021, she said she had two consecutive (surgical) miscarriages.

She added: “These pregnancies were totally unplanned. Last year, it was a bit of a lot to take in. We had been living in France for about six months, and I had no idea how I was going to go about with two babies with no family around.

“Just over a year ago, I underwent the same procedure in France with my second pregnancy. I was about 4/5 months pregnant already. About a month ago this year, I found out I was pregnant again (third pregnancy) … Yesterday I went for a second scan here in Cape Town. The doctor picked up no heartbeat and scheduled me into the theatre.”

She said while she does not like to post about her personal life, she wanted to share her story to reach out to people who may be in a similar situation.

“I didn’t think I needed to share it with the world, but I feel like God has made me this strong for a reason. Yes, I am hurt, heartbroken, confused, scared, and the list goes on (prayer is so powerful) for those who have lost, who are trying or pregnant. God bless you on your journey.

“May God be your strength and guide you all the way. We all have different situations, and we might not be as strong as I am feeling, but God is faithful.”
