‘Fast & Furious’ remember Paul Walker with loving video tribute

The YouTube channel of the Fast & Furious film franchise uploaded a video on Wednesday night in lovingly memory of Paul Walker who died in a fiery car crash last Saturday.

Shots of Walker taken from scenes from the various Fast & Furious movies he starred in are shown accompanied to the soundtrack of Diddy and Skylar Grey’s song Coming Home.

Fast & Furious posted a message below the video stating, “Paul Walker’s family appreciates the outpouring of love and goodwill from his many fans and friends. They have asked, in lieu of flowers or other gifts, that donations please be made to Paul’s charity Reach Out Worldwide (ROWW).”

Walker, 40, died when the Porsche he was travelling in crashed in Los Angeles, killing him and the driver Roger Rodas, who was his friend and business partner. Shortly before the accident Walker was at a car show and toy drive set up through his charity ROWW.  A motorsport professional told The Hollywood Reporter that the men had taken the car out to test it because something was wrong with the vehicle, which kept stalling.

Footage has emerged showing the vehicle in flames.

The actor’s autopsy revealed he died from multiple, traumatic injuries caused by the car crash.

Universal Pictures suspended production of the seventh installment in its lucrative car racing film franchise.

On Tuesday his co-star Vin Diesel posted a photo of himself with Walker on his facebook. He wrote: “Pablo, I wish you could see the world right now… and the profound impact, your full life has had on it, on Us… on me…I will always love you Brian, as the brother you were… on and off screen.”
