Kelly Khumalo in assault case
Afro-pop singer Kelly Khumalo is in a spot of trouble as she is wanted for questioning by the Hillbrow police. This comes after she allegedly assaulted the wife of Orlando Pirates goalie Senzo Meyiwa.

The singer whose love triangle with player, led to a recent incident with his wife Mandisa Meyiwa, City Press reports.
An insider close to the police investigation said the incident took place after Senzo had left training with the Buccaneers and it all happened on the busy Empire Road off-ramp from the M1 South highway.
After a short altercation, Khumalo allegedly hit Mandisa. Eventually a passing motorist tried to separate the two.
As for Mandisa, “She then rushed to the police station where she opened a case of common assault against Kelly and her sister,” said the insider. Mandisa declined to comment.
“I’m not saying anything. I’m not commenting. No comment,” she said after being approached this week. Khumalo also refused to comment. “Hhayi man, no comment,” she said.
Senzo couldn’t be reached for comment because his phone was switched off. But Pirates spokesperson Floyd Mbele said the player would address the matter “when he gets time to do so”.
Gauteng police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Lungelo Dlamini confirmed that a case of assault against Khumalo and her sister had been opened.
