Lynn Forbes pens appreciation post to fans

Lynn Forbes, mother of late rapper Kiernan Forbes (AKA), has expressed her gratitude to fans worldwide for their unwavering support during her challenging time, via an Instagram post.
A week prior, Lynn had also shared the last WhatsApp conversation she had with her son on 31 Jaunary 2023.
AKA and his former manager, Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane, were gunned down outside Durban’s Wish Restaurant in February.
Since then, Lynn has been open about her struggles to come to terms with her son’s passing.

Appreciation post
Forbes posted she is grateful for the support and expressed her appreciation for those who have stood by her, saying its been 11 weeks since her son’s murder.

AKA nominated for Metro FM 17th awards
AKA was nominated for the Metro FM 17th awards, standing a chance to bag up to six awards when the show returns after an absence of half a decade.
He shares the lead on the nominees list with rapper Jabulani Hadebe popularly known as ‘Sjava‘, who also earned six nominations for his songs ‘Isoka‘ and ‘Isubuko‘.
As part of the #akaformetros, Lynn Forbes shared a video on Instagram in which she was seen practicing AKA’s dance moves with one of the Metro FM DJs at the Metro FM studio.
She playfully asked her Instagram followers to judge her moves, saying, “How did I do? 😂😅”

The Megacy plant
Despite facing difficult times, Lynn continues to spread positivity to those around her.
She posted her thriving ‘megacy plant’ and inspired fans who appreciated her positive impact despite her personal struggles.
