Moshe Ndiki does about-turn after defending Dr Nandipha

South African entertainer, Moshe Ndiki, has gone on an apology tour after vehemently defending Dr Nandipha and claiming her innocence.

Entertainer and TV presenter Moshe Ndiki has done an about-turn on his belief in Dr Nanipha Magudumana’s innocence in light of mounting evidence against his friend.

Ndiki initially shared several screenshots of a WhatsApp conversation with the disgraced doctor shortly after the first GroundUp article about her involvement with Bester was published.

‘I see God in you’

The conversation began when Moshe tweeted in IsiXhosa about regretting defending his friend who, in their conversation, told him that she sees God in him for defending her.

He then shared screenshots of her utterances as proof before later deleting the tweets which had been screenshotted and saved by several Twitter users.

In the tweets expressing his regret, he also referred to himself as a loser for believing in Dr Nandipha’s innocence.

‘They’re trying to bury me alive’

The screenshot begins with Moshe Ndiki asking Dr Nandipha if she is okay and she responds by claiming that they’ are trying to bury her alive.

She then tells him that she loves him before declaring that God will get her out of her predicament.

The doctor then tells him that they need to fight GroundUp, claiming that the story is malicious and false, adding that she would like to find out who is behind it.

“Are we able to get the Twitter bullies to stop this from going further?” she asks, before stating that they need to fight GroundUp for what she called “direct and racist” reporting.

He later sent her screenshots of him insulting blogs and fighting people on her behalf, which is when she told him that she sees God in him.

“Uxolo – Asked, Folding- Done, L- Taken,” tweeted Moshe Ndiki after coming to the realisation that his friend was not as innocent as he had thought.

“Uxolo” is the Isixhosa word for forgiveness, “folding” is Twitter slang for conceding that the point that you made in a social media post may be wrong and “L” refers to taking a loss.
