Mshoza’s new husband is still legally married to another woman

Mshoza and her new husband, Thuthukani Mvula, could be heading to court soon to fight for their marriage to be recognised.

Thuthukani’s estranged wife Duduzile Mvula has reportedly instructed her lawyers to have their union annulled.

According to the Sunday World, Duduzile, who is the businessman’s legal wife, has already served her husband with a summons.

She has accused him of committing bigamy, and says he did not get her permission to wed Mshoza.

The drama does not end there.

The publication reports that Duduzile will be filing for a divorce, and wants half of her husband’s “lucrative assets”. But Thuthukani is not going down without a fight. He told the paper he is ready for a court showdown.

“She left me five years ago, so what was I supposed to do, because I’m a man? I even spoke to her father who said he didn’t know where she was living. She also refused to sign the divorce papers my lawyers sent to her,” he was quoted as saying.

Thuthukani made it clear he had no feelings for his ex.

“I don’t love that woman anymore and I don’t care where she lives. Whether she lives on the streets or in a shack is none of my business. But I’m looking after her, even the BMW she drives was bought by me,” he told the Sunday World.

Mshoza and her wealthy partner married in a traditional ceremony last month.

She gushed about her new hubby in an interview with Tshisa Live shortly after the ceremony.

“Everything went well. I am happy, I mean I married a man I love and respect, who loves and respects me back … My man is very traditional and I have been doing my makoti duties. Things like wearing a doek and a towel around my waist, or waking up earlier to boil water for the uncles and stuff,” she said.
