Thrilling new TV role for Sonia Sedibe

Former Generations actress‚ Sonia Sedibe has secured a big television role after taking a break last year and just recently returning to the small screen and playing the role of a con-artist on e.tv’s Gold Diggers.
Sedibe will now be taking on the role of crime detective Lydia, an investigator on a new e.tv action series‚ The Alliance; a detective who is part of a unit that is attempting to bring down the main criminal in the show.
“I’m excited to be part of The Alliance because the role is different from all the other roles I have done. I did intense research to understand my role and what will be expected of me as the tough crime investigator,” she told TMG Entertainment.
The Alliance is expected to debut on April 27 at 9.30pm on e.tv.
