Doh! The Simpsons to kill ‘main’ character this season
This season could be the end for one of The Simpson's main characters.
Producer of the long-running hit show, Al Jean has revealed that the 25th season will be the end for a regular ‘main’ character.
‘I’ll give you a clue that the actor playing the character won an Emmy for playing that character, but I won’t say who it is,’ Jean said at a conference to promote the new season, according to the Mail Online.
That doesn’t narrow it down with many of the actors who supply the voices having taken home one of the coveted Emmy awards. The main players are Dan Castellaneta, who voices Homer, Julie Kavner, who does Marge, Nancy Cartwright, the voice of Bart, and Yeardley Smith, who’s Lisa.
Other actors who provide several voices include Hank Azaria, Harry Shearer Tress MacNeille, Pamela Hayden, Maggie Roswell, Russi Taylor, Marcia Wallace, Marcia Mitzman Gaven and Karl Wiedergott.
A character on the show hasn’t died since Maud Flanders was killed 14 years ago.
