If you’ve ever dreamed of being an actress, this could be your chance. Rhythm City is looking for a new actress to join their cast and play the role of Nomalanga, an authentic Zulu speaking female between the ages of 21 and 30.

Nomalanga is Zolani’s (Melusi Mbele) fiancé, and the daughter of a Kwazulu Natal based mining magnate and struggle veteran.

The auditions will be hosted online. Potential candidates who meet the language, age and gender requirements are required to film their performance based on the script provided. Entries close at midnight on Friday, 15 April. Interested Rhythm Citizens
can enter by visiting www.rcauditions.co.za and follow the below easy
steps:

• Download the script from the website and prepare for your audition,

• Film yourself performing the script using a smartphone or any other recording device,

• Upload the clip to your own YouTube account,

• Complete the application form on the website and share your YouTube link.

The top 12 candidates will be selected for a call-back at the Rhythm City studios in Johannesburg in the third week of April. The lucky ladies will be flown to Johannesburg, and put through their paces, to determine the one who will play the role of Nomalanga. Filming for this role is set to start on Wednesday 4 May.
