SA’s Got Talent: DJ Fresh sends Boomtse back to school

On this week's SA's Got Talent, beat-boxing was thee thing; characterised by a lack of flow, many couldn't see themselves to the next round.

Fexile, one of those who did beat-boxing got buzzed by Shado quickly before he could go any further. “It just didn’t flow for me,” Lala said.

Then there was yet another beat-boxer, Boomtse (real name Sfiso). Although he wowed the crowd, the judges were STILL not impressed. Asked what he would do if he won the competition, Boomtse said: “I’ll buy my mom a house and go back to varsity”. After being questioned by Fresh as to why he couldn’t go to school, Boomtshe said his mother cannot afford to take him to school. DJ Fresh then promised that the Dj Fresh Foundation will take him back to school.

“Will see you in school dog,” Fresh said.

Bleque Harmony blew away the judges and the crowd with their harmonious sounds. They did not have to sing more than 30 seconds for the crowd to start whistling. “Guys you are a beautiful team,” Lala said. “It’s a harmonious yes for me!” Shado said.

Gaga Boy was crashed before singing further.

“Eisha skies ne,”Lala said. “And that was the quickest buzz in History of SA’s Got Talent,” Tazz retorted.

Lee River sang specially for Shado. “She’s my diamond”, he sang. When asked “why are you hitting on my mother” by DJ Fresh, Lee responded “I was going to say, ‘son, go make me some coffee'” to the audience laughing and clapping. Regardless, he was rejected by all three judges.

Ralkava sang Forever Young. It was horrible.

Grace sang I really like you, people clapped along as she sang. DJ Fresh was dancing along. “I do really like you,” Lala said. “I loved your voice I loved your song,” Shado enthused.

Pro-tip for the next episode of #SAGT: Don’t beat-box.
