Tonight on Idols SA (video)

It’s not just been all fun and games and visits to Big Ben for the Idols Season 10 Top 4 in London this week – they also had to work extra hard on their performances for this Sunday’s Top 3 Spectacular, because after saying goodbye to the fourth contestant the remaining three prospective Idols will each have to perform three numbers this week.

UPDATE: London Louw bows out of Idols SA

In the First Round category the Idols had to select a hit from the year they were born, and this is what the contestants chose:

Bongi Silinda chose Phil Collins’s 1990 hit, “Another Day in Paradise”

Lize Mynhardt chose the big 1993 hit “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” from the Scottish one-hit-wonders The Proclaimers

London Louw chose Sinéad O’ Connor’s “Nothing Compares To U”, from 1990

Vincent Bones chose Lionel Richie’s “Stuck On You”, from 1984.

The theme for the second round is the contestants’ own personal favourites, and this is what they chose:

Bongi chose the Drake hit “Find Your Love”

Lize chose Leonard Cohen standard “Hallelujah”

Londonchose The Darkness’s “I Believe in a Thing Called Love”

Vincent chose Sam Smith, “Stay With Me”

And for the final round the contestants had to prepare a song chosen for them by the Idols producers. This is what the contestants chose:

Bongi drew Lana Del Rey’s “Young & Beautiful”

Lize drew Kanye hit “No Church In The Wild”

London drew Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way”

Vincent drew, “You & I (Nobody In The World)”.

And in addition to all this entertainment, fans can also look forward to live guest performances from supergroup MiCasa and one of the most popular Idols winners ever, Season 6 Idols Elvis Blue!
