Known for his rugby career, Lambton resident Dauw Steyn hopes to change people’s perspective on how they view him, as he now ventures into more charity work.
“For years people have been reading about me in regards to my rugby or coaching career,” said Steyn.
“We started the Tekkies and Toks programme whereby we collect second-hand pairs of shoes to donate to young people in need. The aim is to make sure no rugby player goes to practice or a match without a proper boot to play with.

“We also have Morne Steyn as another ambassador. The club aims to groom young boys to be responsible and respectful young adults,” said Steyn.
